Cupcake Cup Guide: Merge, Orders & Leagues

From missions to the daily merge tournament: how Wood becomes cupcakes, how the Cupcake Cup board, orders and vouchers work, and how leagues rank you.

4 min read

The Cupcake Cup is the daily merge tournament in Pixi Kingdom, and it is fed by everything you do on your land. Missions bring in Wood, your Bakery turns Wood into cupcakes, and the cupcakes flow onto a merge board where you fill orders and collect vouchers. Your vouchers rank you against players in your own league every day. This guide follows the whole chain, from your first mission to the daily leaderboard, then explains the weekly PowerUp league and ends with a few tips for a better board.

Missions bring in the Wood

Wood is the heart of your land. Send Pixis out from your mission slots: each mission takes a few hours, and your very first one takes only seconds. Rarer and higher-level Pixis bring back more Wood and have a better chance of finding a Key. Missions can also bring hazelnuts, which go to your merge board. Boosters can speed a mission up, make the bag bigger, double the Wood, raise the Key chance, or send your Pixis out again automatically.

Warehouse and workshops: Bakery, Sawmill, Alchemy

Collected Wood goes to your warehouse, which also stores Planks and Merge Potions. Wood beyond its capacity is lost when you collect, so upgrade the warehouse as you grow. The Bakery turns Wood into cupcakes for the Cup, and a higher-level Bakery bakes higher-level cupcakes. The Sawmill makes Planks, which every upgrade needs along with Maple. Alchemy brews Merge Potions of a rarity you choose; a potion turns two level-5 Pixis into one Pixi of the next rarity. You start with two building plots and can unlock up to nine. Your first workshop of each type is free, and you can own several of each.

Workers and workshop speed

Each workshop has a free squirrel worker, and your Pixis can join as workers to raise its top speed. Rarer and higher-level Pixis help more, and the Baker, Carpenter and Alchemist traits help in their own workshop. You choose each workshop's speed or switch it off, and all of them stop when the warehouse runs out of Wood. So the rule is simple: keep the Wood coming, and your workshops keep working.

The Cupcake Cup merge board

Open Inventory to see your board: a 5×5 grid. The 9 cells in the centre are open from the start. The 16 outer cells begin locked, each with a sealed item inside, and you can unlock each one once, for good. New items flow in by themselves whenever a cell is free: cupcakes from your Bakery, hazelnuts from missions, chest items, and pouches and chests that hold Stars or Maple, which you open right on the board. The chest cell drops new items every few hours. And the most important rule: your board and tiles never reset.

How merging works

Merging is simple. Move an item onto an equal one, the same kind at the same level, and the two become one item of the next level. Two level-3 cupcakes make a level-4 cupcake, and so on up the ladder. The same works for hazelnuts, chest items and reward pouches. Space is your main limit, so merge often and don't let small items fill your board. If you enjoy cupcake merge games, you will feel at home here; the difference is that every merge feeds a real daily competition.

Orders, vouchers and daily milestones

Three orders are open at a time, and each one asks for specific cupcakes. Orders start at level 3 every day and get bigger as the day goes on, and higher leagues ask for bigger cupcakes. Filling an order gives you vouchers. Vouchers do two jobs: they unlock four daily milestones with rewards along the way, and they are your score in the daily tournament. Orders and vouchers start again each day, so there is always a fresh goal waiting for you.

The daily tournament and the leagues

Every day, players are ranked by vouchers inside their own league: Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond. Leagues are matched by squad power, which comes from the rarity and level of your playable Pixis plus your building and warehouse levels. Your league for the day is fixed when you collect your first vouchers, so you always compete with players at your level. The day closes at 00:00 UTC (03:30 in Tehran, 03:00 in Moscow), and the top 10 of each league get in-game rewards such as Stars, Maple and Wood.

The weekly PowerUp league and tips

PowerUp is the weekly competition, from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday. You score points for breeding (triple through breed links), merging and rarity-ups, mission collects, building upgrades, baking, hatching hazelnuts and the Wanted bounty. Everyone starts in Bronze; after that, the end of each week sets your league for the next, and it never changes mid-week. Top ranks win from their league's prize list, which may include TON, Telegram Gifts, Stars and in-game items. You claim prizes in the app, and Gifts are sent by the team. Rules, eligibility and prize lists can change, and it's one account per person. Tips: keep the Bakery fed, upgrade for squad power, and plan your merges before the day closes.

Pixi Kingdom is a free creature-collecting game inside Telegram. Hatch one-of-a-kind Pixis, put them to work on your land, then take on the daily Cupcake Cup and weekly leagues.
